NEC 3.5 Slim Floppy Drives for $2.49 Each!
We have 10,000 pieces of
some NEC FD3238H 3.5 inch 1.44M slim floppy disk drives in stock. These are all
brand new and in the original NEC factory sealed boxes. The bezels on all of
them are black. New ones hard to find too! The date of manufacture is 2008. All
the other ones we have seen are either used or refurbished. These are also the
same drive Dell uses in their PowerEdge computers. Dell’s part number for them
is PY009. Additionally, Sony was the largest manufacturer of floppy disk drives.
Sony announced that they have discontinued making them. If you need to support
legacy equipment with these, you can still obtain plenty from us before prices
soar. This will happen as supplies dry up. Yes, we know many new computers don’t
use these anymore. But there are many legacy and industrial machines that still
use these. Why risk buying used ones for more money? That doesn’t make sense!
The average price we see for them for sale is $54.00 each. You can be sure that
price will only go up as stocks dwindle! We can sell these pristine new ones at
just $3.39 each in small quantities less than 1K pieces. The minimum sale
is one case. We are selling them in factory sealed case lots of 40 pieces per
case. Each case is 19 inches long x 12 inches wide x 9 inches high. Each case
weighs 17.3 pounds. We will sell them at $2.49 each in lots of 1,000
pieces.
