Do Not Do Business with him. Over 500 NON WORKING hard drives were shipped, including destop and laptop drives.
How the material was going to be packed prior to shipping was explained (packed exactly as described when shipped) he said that is fine.
Refused both packages claiming first, we sent them Cashiers Check only (wrong) sent UPS CoD like he said was fine.
Then He claims the reason is.... he looked at the drives and they were packed all incorrectly (after he ok'ed how they were going to be shipped)
Then He goes back to saying.... well i didnt look at the drives myself, the shipping department looked at them.
After already accepting a package of laptop drives before, packed all together in same box metal to metal, he says well they were metal to metal and they do not accept drives metal to metal (the laptop box was not even opened when it came back to our facility, how do you know they were packed wrong?????)
Now he says every drive has to be each individually wrapped in bubble wrap (which is almost worth as much as he actually pays for the BROKEN NOT WORKING drives) and he cant give me a reason why the shipment before not each individually packed in bubblewrap was accepted.
His final statement was "I told you to package them correctly and thats that" (after he assured how we described them to be packed was alright with him (divded harddrive box with bubble wrap and foam)
Needless to say, the desktop drive box was returned not in the same package as it was shipped (with the orginal lab cut out of the box and taped onto the side and with less drives then we actually sent out (hmmmmm?!?!)
With the laptop box never opened (but yet poorly packaged, with the same tape and box it was send out with (foam and divided harddrive box))
So take what you will, just keep this in mind if you do decide to try and do business with him. His loss seeing that our combined facilites obtain 10's of thousands of broken drives a year. This was our second test run before he got all of our drives, which obviously is not going to happen ever.
If his story had of actually lined up and we had gotten back every drive we sent, this situation would of been totally different and understandable .
If anyone else out there purchases broken drives, feel free to contact me if you would like to do business with professional and well established company.
